This privacy policy applies to Snotra, a customer-relationship-management application ("Snotra", "the Service", "we", "us"). It applies to information we collect when you use or access the Service. We may change this privacy policy from time to time; changes take effect 7 days after we post the revised policy (indicated by revising the date above). Please review this policy periodically.

Two kinds of data this policy covers

Snotra is a business tool: the person who signs up ("you", "the account holder") uses it to manage relationships with their own customers or contacts. This means the Service processes two distinct categories of personal information, and they are not the same thing:

• Your account information — the data that identifies you as the account holder (name, email, login credentials, device and usage data).
• Contact data you enter about your own customers — names, phone numbers, meeting notes, gift records, group assignments, and similar information you choose to record about the people you manage relationships with.

For contact data, Snotra is a tool you use to record and organize information about your own contacts — we do not review, verify, advise on, or take responsibility for how you obtain or use that information. We store and process it only as you instruct, to provide the Service to you. You are solely responsible for complying with applicable data protection law in your jurisdiction with respect to this data.

Collection of Information

Information You Provide to Us

We collect the account information you provide when you register and use the Service (name, email address, and similar identifying information), and the contact data described above that you choose to enter about your own customers — including names, phone numbers, meeting-log entries, gift records, and group/tag assignments.

Information We Collect Automatically When You Use the Services

When you access or use the Service, we automatically collect:

• Log Information: your use of the Service, including access times and the pages or screens viewed.
• Device Information: information about the device you use to access the Service, including hardware model and operating system and version.
• Push Notification Tokens: a device identifier used to deliver reminder notifications you have configured (see "Reminders and Push Notifications" below).

Information We Collect From Other Sources

If you sign in through a third-party identity provider (for example, Firebase Authentication's supported sign-in methods), we receive the identifying information that provider shares with us to authenticate you.

Use of Information

We use information about you and the contact data you enter for purposes that include:

• Providing, maintaining, and improving the Service;
• Calculating your configured follow-up reminders and delivering the push notifications you have set up;
• Detecting duplicate gift entries for the same contact, so you can avoid giving the same gift twice;
• Sending you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages about your account;
• Responding to your questions and providing customer support;
• Monitoring and analyzing trends and usage to improve the Service.

By accessing and using the Service, you consent to the processing of your information as described in this policy.

Reminders and Push Notifications

Snotra calculates when a contact is due for follow-up based on the group follow-up interval and the last recorded contact date you enter, and sends you a push notification when a reminder is due. This calculation and the resulting notification use only data you have already entered into the Service.

Sharing of Information

We may share personal information as follows:

• With third-party service providers who need access to carry out work on our behalf (for example, our cloud hosting provider and Firebase, used for authentication, crash reporting, analytics, and push notification delivery);
• If we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
• To enforce our applicable user agreements or policies, and to protect us, our users, or the public from harm or illegal activity;
• In connection with a merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business;
• If we notify you (or state in this policy) that information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide it.

We do not sell your personal information, or the contact data you enter about your customers, to third parties.

Data Retention and Your Controls

We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active, or as required by law. You can export or delete your account at any time from within the app's account settings.

This retention commitment is about your account, not the contact data you enter about your own customers. Deleting your account deletes that contact data along with it, as a consequence of deleting your account — but we make no separate retention commitment regarding the contact data itself; its lifecycle is yours to manage.

Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect personal information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
